My one month experience in Bandung Indonesia was really priceless. We went to different places where we have noticed their culture and tradition. These places are the Dagu Dream Park, where the beautiful view of nature can truly be found. The Farm House, where I experienced to fed up an animal like sheep and in Sangu Udju, where I have experienced playing their famous musical instrument. It was part of the program to have us students exposed to their cultural places and from that experience we have learned a lot of things.

Angklong udjo
Pasirlayung, Cibeunying Kidul, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat where the Udjo’s House of Angklong located. Saung Angklung Udjo is one-stop cultural workshop, consisting of: performance venue, bamboo handicraft centre, and bamboo instrument workshop. Apart from that, Saung Angklung Udjo has an honourable function as an educational laboratory and training centre to preserve the Sundanese culture – Angklung in particular.
We really enjoyed our experience in Udjo’s House of Angklong. We had witnessed a lot of historic performances there and also the performers are really cute and amazing because some of them are still young but they are very professional when dancing. We had the opportunity to experience on how to play Angklong and it feels so good because we learned how to play basic songs and on the last part, one performer invited me to dance at the center together with the other audience.

GRACIA HOT SPRING RESORT
We’ve been to Gracia’s Hot Spring, 2 hours from UPI and we are with our Sahabat Nisa and Dira, Pak Fachru and with the SEA-TVET participants. Gracia Spa Resorts is located in Ciater district, Subang region, West Java. The resort is surrounded by a beautiful tea plantation, 1.100 m above sea level, in the area of the legendary Tangkuban Parahu Mountains.
We felt so relaxed there and the ambiance is very nice. The place is very natural and calm, you can really reflect there and have a stress-free mood after a week of teaching.
